Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of tapiros.com and your Tapiros account. By creating an account or buying a license you agree to them. Your use of the music itself is governed by the License Terms.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are for businesses and their staff; you must be at least 18 to buy a license.

3. Using the site

Don't try to get around access controls, download files you aren't licensed for, scrape the catalogue, overload the service, or use the site for anything unlawful. Previews are provided so you can choose music and may not be recorded, downloaded or used commercially.

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes payment, handles sales tax and VAT, issues your receipt and invoice, and provides customer service for payment enquiries. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase. We don't see or store your card details. A license is only issued once Paddle confirms payment. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Changes and availability

We work to keep the site available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may add, change or remove tracks from the catalogue. Removing a track doesn't end your license for the rest of the catalogue.

6. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@tapiros.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Closing an account ends any license on it without a refund, except as described in the License Terms.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
